Kushuz first active Deewali.....Quiet a Handfull

Hi Folks !!

I'm back. I know all my friends will excuse me for the delay in Diwali reporting on Kushu because they know how active I've always been in my entire life.

Chalo...without wasting any more time let me tell you all that this was the first time Kushu was keen on celebrating Diwali big time with crackers.

To start with I took it as just one of the exuberance from his side on every new thing he comes across and took it all wrong by under-estiamting his penchant for crackers.

As Deepawali grew closer his intensity rose exponentially and finally on the eve of Diwali he almost dragged me to a shop filled with crackers and came out all triumphant with his bags which cost me good fortune(I know I'm developing into a money-minded father. This also gave me an idea on inflation.

Still I was warry if he would actually play all of them and was a little worry too that at the end of the day he would ask me to do it for him as I just do not enjoi playing crackers since last so many years.

But Boy !! I was totally wrong!!!!

Diwali-evening, his energy was matchless and it was to be seen to be believed. We had quiet a difficult time holding on to him so that he doesn't get hurt.

His favorite was ROCKET - BOMB. One of our neighbour designed and showed him the use of agarbattis. He adapted it quiet well and then off he went. He was quiet keen on Anars, Charkhis and torches and mercifully stayed away from those dreaded bombs which I believe will get added in his list the next year....I must get ready from now onwards.

The entire evening was quiet a stressful for us keeping pace with him but as soon as I got relieved that the stock is over; here comes his devil Uncle - Tinku with loads of Patakas. The first thing Kushu said to him was.... "Thank u Chachu - I love u"..

Finally he slept around 1am at night with his boots on. The last update on the stock is that its not over and he is planning to play with them on New Year's eve as taught by his sweet mommy.

Although very demanding but the evening brought all the fond memories of my childhood when I used to be a die-hard fan of crackers.

Thanks a ton Kushal for bringing to the fore my childhood memories which were lost somewhere in the time-warp.....Keep rocking!!
